Redchurch Street. Quiet, fast, and the team’s morning default.
London is our transatlantic hub. Half the engagements are U.S. founders bringing a product, brand, or operating system to the UK and EU. The other half are UK and European founders entering the U.S. market. The team is half-British, half-American, all-bilingual.
Strategists, FCA-network counsel partners, and EU operator placement. Bilingual UK-US bench.
Cross-Atlantic expansion engagements over the last 24 months — in both directions.
Loft studio, two studio bays, a 12-seat boardroom, and a private call room for FCA & HMRC sessions.
UK and EU specialist counsel, regulatory advisors, and senior operators in our active network.
We're on the third floor of a converted Victorian warehouse on Bishopsgate, off Curtain Road. Reception is on the third floor — the lift requires a fob, so a BBD team member always meets visitors at street level.
London has three or four neighborhoods that could host this practice. We chose City of London deliberately — it's where the firm's UK clients actually work, and it's a five-minute walk from the City when we need it.
City of London sits between the Square Mile (where the bankers and counsel are) and Hackney/Hoxton (where most of our UK founders are based). We can be at a Lloyd's underwriter or a Hackney warehouse in fifteen minutes either direction.
Our London team holds dual UK-US fluency — tax, employment, regulatory, and cultural. That bench is genuinely hard to build, and it shortens almost every transatlantic engagement.
Brick, beams, daylight. The City of London loft tradition is the right backdrop for the kind of practice we run — less Mayfair-formal, more working-floor.
The London studio runs as a working transatlantic floor. Most visits are scoped to a market-entry session, an FCA prep, or a multi-day intensive. Plan for tea, sparkling water, and long working hours.
Confirm 48 hours ahead, bring photo ID for the building's lobby system, and arrive 10 minutes early. The lift requires a fob; a BBD team member meets every visitor at street level. The freight entrance is for deliveries only.
Dress smart-casual; the team works without ties. Boardroom has a 75” display, US/UK conference audio, a whiteboard, and a coffee bar. Guest Wi-Fi is fast.
There's no on-site parking. NCP at Finsbury Square is the closest. Liverpool Street and City of London High Street stations are each 4 minutes on foot. From Heathrow, the Elizabeth Line to Liverpool Street is 39 minutes.
City of London is among London's best-connected addresses. Six lines reach Liverpool Street, the Elizabeth Line lands you in 39 minutes from Heathrow, and Eurostar is 12 minutes by tube.
Liverpool Street (Central, Circle, H&C, Met, Elizabeth) is 4 minutes on foot. City of London High Street (Overground) is 4 minutes the other way.
Elizabeth Line direct to Liverpool Street, 39 minutes. By car, allow 60-90 in peak.
Northern Line south to Bank, then a 6-minute walk. ~12 minutes total.
A10 south, exit at Old Street, west to Curtain Road. NCP at Finsbury Square is the closest validated park.
City of London and the City overlap at our door. Coffee, lunches, founder-dinner spots, and a few quiet hotels for visiting clients are listed below.
Redchurch Street. Quiet, fast, and the team’s morning default.

Tea Building. Default for founder dinners. Reserve three weeks ahead.
Around the corner. Walking distance, easy lobby for working coffee.
Willow Street. Quieter, more deliberate, fits multi-day intensives.
5-minute walk south. Empty before 9, useful for a morning call.
10-minute walk. A small Quaker burial ground. Genuinely quiet.
Cambridge Heath. Cocktails, low light, end-of-day default for the team.
The London studio is one of ten BBD locations. Most engagements draw on more than one — if your work spans timezones, regulators, or markets, we'll route you to the right combination.
Miami headquarters and nine partner studios.
North America, the Caribbean, the UK, and East Asia.
From PT to JST — someone is online during your business hours.
English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, and Japanese on staff.
Strategy, Systems, and Brand studios. The center of gravity for every engagement — every founder's build runs through here.
Capital markets, investor relations, and East Coast operator network. Our default for fundraising-stage clients.
Product, engineering recruiting, and early-stage operator bench. Where most of our technical builds originate.
Industrial, logistics, and B2B operations specialists. The team that handles legacy-business modernization work.
Brand, content, and consumer-product studio. Closest to the Los Angeles creator economy and our entertainment clients.
Cross-border tax, immigration, and Canadian market entry. Our default for U.S. founders expanding north.
Pacific Northwest tech corridor and resource-economy clients. Bridges our West Coast and Asia-Pacific work.
Holding-company structuring, fund formation, and offshore corporate services. For clients with international footprints.
EU and UK market entry, FCA navigation, and our European operator bench. The hub for transatlantic work.
APAC market entry, supplier diligence, and Japan-specific corporate structuring. Our easternmost team.
Visits to the London studio are by appointment so we can pair the right person with the conversation — a 20-minute meet-and-greet, a 90-minute working session, or a full-day intensive. Start with a call; we'll take it from there.
